Match your credentials to USMCA professions
Aspirus Health hires TN professionals only in roles that appear on the USMCA professions list. Before applying, confirm your specific job title maps to a listed category like Physiotherapist, Medical Laboratory Technologist, or Registered Nurse using O*NET to verify the occupational alignment.
Request a detailed TN support letter
Aspirus Health's offer letter must specify your USMCA profession category, your qualifying degree, your anticipated start date, and that the position is not intended as permanent employment. At the border or consulate, a vague letter is the most common cause of TN admission delays.
Verify your degree equivalency before applying
Aspirus Health roles often require U.S. licensure alongside a TN-qualifying degree. Canadian three-year bachelor's programs generally satisfy USMCA education requirements, but healthcare-specific credentials like NCLEX for nurses or board certification for therapists must be secured before your border crossing.
Target clinical departments with recurring TN hiring
Aspirus Health's TN hires concentrate in allied health and nursing across its Wisconsin and Michigan facilities. Focusing your applications on physical therapy, medical lab, and acute care nursing teams puts you in front of hiring managers already familiar with TN admission requirements and timelines.
Search Migrate Mate to confirm active TN openings
Use Migrate Mate to filter Aspirus Health job listings by TN sponsorship eligibility, so you're only applying to roles where the system confirms TN candidates are genuinely considered, not just tolerated on paper after a hiring manager unfamiliar with immigration asks HR to check.
Prepare for same-day admission at a land port of entry
Canadian nationals don't wait for government approval before starting at Aspirus Health. You present your offer letter and credentials directly to a CBP officer at the border. Book your crossing on a weekday morning when officer caseloads are lighter and secondary inspection wait times are shorter.
Aspirus Health TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Aspirus Health sponsor TN visas?
Aspirus Health supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals by issuing offer letters for roles that qualify under the USMCA professions list. It does not file a petition or submit paperwork to USCIS on your behalf. You present Aspirus Health's offer letter directly at a port of entry or U.S. consulate to obtain TN status.
Which roles at Aspirus Health are eligible for TN admission?
TN-eligible roles at Aspirus Health fall within USMCA-defined healthcare professions, including Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Medical Laboratory Technologist, and Occupational Therapist. General administrative, managerial, or support positions are not TN-eligible. Use Migrate Mate to filter current Aspirus Health openings by TN eligibility before submitting an application.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an Aspirus Health offer?
Once Aspirus Health issues your offer letter, Canadian nationals proceed directly to a U.S. land port of entry or pre-clearance location and present the letter, proof of citizenship, qualifying degree credentials, and any required professional licenses. Mexican nationals must schedule a nonimmigrant visa appointment at a U.S. consulate before traveling.
How long does TN admission take for Aspirus Health candidates?
Canadian nationals crossing at a land port of entry can receive TN admission the same day if their documents are complete and the CBP officer is satisfied. Mexican nationals face longer timelines tied to U.S. consulate appointment availability, which varies significantly by location and time of year.
What documents does Aspirus Health typically provide for TN candidates?
Aspirus Health provides a support letter that identifies your USMCA profession category, describes the role, confirms the degree or credentials required, states your anticipated start date, and affirms the temporary nature of the employment. You are responsible for supplying your own professional credentials, license documents, and proof of Canadian or Mexican citizenship.
How does TN visa admission work at Aspirus Health?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Aspirus Health, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
