Verify your role appears on the USMCA professions list
Not every healthcare role at Bayada qualifies for TN admission. Before applying, cross-reference your job title against the USMCA TN professions list. Registered nurses, physical therapists, and medical technologists are listed; home health aides and care coordinators are not.
Confirm your credentials meet USMCA standards
Bayada hires across clinical disciplines, and each TN profession has specific credential requirements under USMCA. A registered nurse must hold a baccalaureate or licenciatura degree, or a post-secondary diploma plus three years of experience. Gather your transcripts and license before contacting HR.
Request a TN-specific offer letter from Bayada HR
Bayada's offer letter must state your TN profession category, your specific duties, your anticipated length of employment, and that the position is not permanent. Without all four elements, a border officer or consular officer can deny admission on procedural grounds alone.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Bayada's active TN hiring locations
Bayada operates across dozens of states, and TN hiring activity is not evenly distributed. Search Migrate Mate to see which Bayada offices have recently supported TN professionals, so you target the locations most likely to move quickly on a qualified candidate.
Prepare your NCLEX and license documentation before your border appointment
Canadian nurses entering at a land port of entry must present their TN documents in a single visit. Bayada's HR can issue the offer letter quickly, but delays in obtaining your NCLEX pass confirmation or state nursing license can push back your admission date by weeks.
Understand TN renewal timing if Bayada extends your contract
TN status is granted in up to three-year increments with no statutory limit on renewals. If Bayada offers a contract extension, you can renew at the border or apply for a change of status through USCIS. Start the renewal process at least 60 days before your current period expires.
Bayada Home Health Care, Inc. TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bayada Home Health Care, Inc. sponsor TN visas?
Bayada supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying USMCA healthcare roles. The company issues offer letters that TN candidates use at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. Bayada doesn't file a petition or submit paperwork to USCIS on your behalf; the offer letter is what the company provides.
Which roles at Bayada are most likely to qualify for TN admission?
Clinical and therapy positions align most closely with the USMCA TN professions list. Registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical technologists are among the roles Bayada hires that appear on that list. Administrative, supervisory, and home health aide roles generally do not qualify for TN status.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Bayada job offer?
Request a TN-specific offer letter from Bayada's HR team that includes your profession category, job duties, and the temporary nature of the position. Canadian citizens present that letter directly at a U.S. port of entry. Mexican citizens schedule a consular interview and bring the letter as part of their visa application package.
How long does TN admission take when working with Bayada?
Canadian applicants who apply at the border can receive TN admission the same day if documents are in order. Mexican applicants must schedule a consular appointment, which adds processing time that varies by consulate and season. The key variable in both cases is how quickly Bayada's HR team issues the offer letter after you accept the position.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Bayada?
Search Migrate Mate to browse Bayada's current openings filtered for TN-eligible roles in healthcare. Applying directly to roles that match your USMCA profession category, rather than submitting a general application, helps ensure Bayada's recruiting team routes your profile to a hiring manager familiar with TN admission requirements.
How does TN visa admission work at Bayada Home Health Care, Inc.?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Bayada Home Health Care, Inc., while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
