Verify your credentials match USMCA requirements
TN eligibility at Bethesda Health Group hinges on holding the right degree or license for your specific USMCA profession. A registered nurse must hold an RN license; a medical technologist needs a qualifying bachelor's. Confirm your credentials satisfy the exact USMCA profession definition before applying.
Target clinical and allied health departments
Bethesda Health Group's TN hiring concentrates in clinical operations, allied health, and patient services. Focus your applications on roles where your USMCA profession maps directly, such as physical therapist, medical technologist, or pharmacist, rather than general administrative or support positions unlikely to qualify.
Request a detailed offer letter covering USMCA specifics
Your offer letter from Bethesda Health Group must state your job title, USMCA profession category, duties, salary, and employment period. Canadian nationals present this at the port of entry; Mexican nationals need it for their U.S. consulate appointment. An incomplete letter causes immediate admission problems.
Research prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Before your interview, look up your occupation's wage level using the OFLC Wage Search and cross-reference with Bureau of Labor Statistics data for your region. Bethesda Health Group's offer must meet or exceed the prevailing wage for your role, so arriving informed strengthens your negotiating position.
Use Migrate Mate to find Bethesda Health Group TN openings
Search Migrate Mate to surface active roles at Bethesda Health Group that align with TN-eligible professions. The platform filters by employer TN hiring history, so you can prioritize positions where the company has demonstrated experience supporting TN admission rather than sending cold applications.
Prepare your O*NET occupation profile for the border
Border officers sometimes question whether your duties qualify under the USMCA profession definition. Printing your O*NET occupation profile and highlighting how your specific role at Bethesda Health Group maps to those standard duties gives you a concrete document to reference if the officer asks for clarification.
Bethesda Health Group TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bethesda Health Group sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Bethesda Health Group supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible USMCA healthcare professions. The company issues offer letters that workers present at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. There is no USCIS petition involved, so the process moves faster than employer-petitioned work visas like the H-1B visa.
Which roles at Bethesda Health Group typically qualify for TN admission?
TN-eligible roles at Bethesda Health Group generally fall within clinical and allied health functions, including registered nurses, physical therapists, medical technologists, pharmacists, and other occupations explicitly listed on the USMCA professions schedule. Administrative and general support roles rarely qualify because TN status is profession-specific, not employer-specific.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from Bethesda Health Group?
Once Bethesda Health Group issues your offer letter, Canadians present it directly at a U.S. land border or preclearance airport, while Mexican nationals schedule a consulate appointment first. You'll need your offer letter, proof of citizenship, credentials confirming your USMCA profession, and any applicable licenses. USCIS is not involved in this process.
How long does TN admission typically take at Bethesda Health Group?
Canadian nationals can often complete TN admission the same day at the port of entry, assuming documents are in order. Mexican nationals face longer timelines depending on consulate appointment availability. Initial TN status is granted for up to three years, and Bethesda Health Group can support renewal requests by issuing updated offer letters.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Bethesda Health Group?
Migrate Mate lists active openings at Bethesda Health Group filtered by visa type, making it straightforward to identify roles where TN admission is supported. Cross-check any listed position against the USMCA professions schedule to confirm your specific occupation qualifies before investing time in an application or credential review.
How does TN visa admission work at Bethesda Health Group?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Bethesda Health Group, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
