Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding HCA Healthcare TN Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Confirm your role is USMCA-listed
TN admission only covers occupations on the USMCA professions list. Before applying to HCA Healthcare, cross-reference your job title against that list using O*NET to verify your occupation code aligns with a qualifying category like Registered Nurse or Medical Technologist.
Target HCA facilities with acute staffing needs
HCA Healthcare operates hundreds of hospitals and surgical centers nationwide. Facilities in high-growth markets like Texas and Florida post TN-eligible clinical roles more frequently, so filtering your search by region sharpens your odds of landing an offer quickly.
Request a detailed offer letter early
HCA Healthcare's offer letter is your primary TN document at the border or consulate. Ask HR explicitly to include your USMCA profession category, your degree requirement, and a clear description of your duties, since a vague letter is the most common reason TN admission gets delayed.
Verify your credentials meet state licensing requirements
Many TN-eligible clinical roles at HCA Healthcare require active state licensure before your start date. Registered nurses need a valid U.S. state license, so submit your credentials to the relevant state board well before your TN admission date to avoid onboarding delays.
Search TN-active employers on Migrate Mate
Finding HCA Healthcare roles that match your TN profession category is faster when you filter specifically for employers that hire TN professionals. Migrate Mate lets you search by visa type and role, so you can identify open positions at HCA Healthcare without sorting through non-qualifying postings.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation in advance
CBP officers may question whether a foreign degree satisfies the bachelor's-level requirement for your TN profession. A credential evaluation from a NACES-member organization, obtained before your port-of-entry appointment, gives you a document that resolves equivalency questions on the spot.
HCA Healthcare TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does HCA Healthcare sponsor TN visas?
HCA Healthcare supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA professions. It issues offer letters that TN candidates present at a port of entry or U.S. consulate. There is no USCIS petition involved. Clinical roles including registered nurses, physical therapists, and medical technologists are among the positions HCA Healthcare regularly hires under TN status.
Which departments at HCA Healthcare typically hire TN professionals?
Nursing, rehabilitation services, laboratory sciences, and radiology are the departments where TN-eligible roles appear most frequently at HCA Healthcare. These align closely with the USMCA professions list. Roles in healthcare administration or non-clinical operations generally don't qualify for TN, so targeting clinical departments gives you the strongest match.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from HCA Healthcare?
Once HCA Healthcare issues your offer letter, Canadians proceed directly to a U.S. port of entry with the letter, their degree credentials, and a completed CBP Form I-94. Mexican nationals schedule a visa interview at a U.S. consulate first. Neither route involves USCIS filing. Migrate Mate can help you identify open roles at HCA Healthcare before you reach this stage.
How long does TN admission take at HCA Healthcare?
Canadian nationals who apply at the border can receive TN admission the same day if their documentation is complete. Mexican nationals applying through a U.S. consulate face longer timelines depending on appointment availability, typically several weeks. HCA Healthcare's internal onboarding timeline also factors in, particularly if state licensure verification is required before your start date.
What credentials do I need to present for a TN role at HCA Healthcare?
You need an offer letter from HCA Healthcare that specifies your USMCA profession, a degree or credential in the relevant field, and proof of Canadian or Mexican citizenship. For nursing roles, a valid U.S. state license is also required. If your degree was earned outside the U.S. or Canada, a NACES-member credential evaluation strengthens your case at the port of entry.
How does TN visa admission work at HCA Healthcare?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from HCA Healthcare, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
