Verify your role is USMCA-listed
Not every clinical title at Lifepoint Health® qualifies for TN admission. Cross-reference your exact job description against the USMCA professions list before applying. Roles like registered nurse, physical therapist, and medical technologist are commonly supported; general administrative healthcare roles are not.
Tailor credentials to USMCA standards
Lifepoint Health® hires across acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health settings. Make sure your degree and licensure credentials match the specific USMCA profession category for your target role. Canadian nurses, for example, must hold a baccalaureate degree or provincial licensure qualifying them for RN practice.
Target facility-level hiring managers directly
Lifepoint Health® operates dozens of community hospitals under regional leadership. Reaching out to facility HR contacts or department directors, rather than only applying through a corporate portal, can accelerate the offer letter process that's essential for your TN admission at the border or consulate.
Confirm the offer letter covers TN requirements
Your TN admission depends on a detailed employer letter, not a USCIS petition. Confirm Lifepoint Health® will issue a letter stating your profession, job duties, your qualifications, and the anticipated length of employment. Missing any of these elements is a common reason for TN refusals at the port of entry.
Use Migrate Mate to find Lifepoint Health® TN roles
Search Migrate Mate to surface Lifepoint Health® job listings filtered for TN-eligible roles across its hospital network. Migrate Mate shows DOL Labor Condition Application filing history by employer and occupation, so you can see which healthcare roles align with active sponsorship patterns before you apply.
Prepare for TN renewal timing at Lifepoint Health®
TN status is granted in up to three-year increments with no statutory limit on renewals. If you're renewing at the border, start gathering an updated employer support letter and evidence of continued employment at Lifepoint Health® at least sixty days before your current status expires.
Lifepoint Health® TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lifepoint Health® sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Lifepoint Health® supports TN admission for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals in USMCA-listed healthcare roles. Rather than filing a petition, the company issues an offer and support letter that you present at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. Eligible roles typically include registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical technologists across its hospital network.
Which departments at Lifepoint Health® typically hire TN professionals?
Clinical departments are the primary hiring areas for TN professionals at Lifepoint Health®. Nursing, rehabilitation services, and diagnostic imaging are among the most active. Behavioral health and respiratory therapy roles may also qualify depending on your credentials and the specific USMCA profession category that matches your job duties.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Lifepoint Health® offer?
Once Lifepoint Health® issues your offer letter, Canadian citizens can present it directly at a U.S. land border or pre-clearance facility without a prior visa appointment. Mexican citizens must schedule a TN visa interview at a U.S. consulate. In both cases, bring your offer letter, credential documents, and proof of citizenship. USCIS does not process TN requests.
How long does TN admission take at a Lifepoint Health® facility?
For Canadian citizens applying at the border, TN admission is typically decided the same day. Mexican citizens should account for consular appointment wait times, which vary by location and season. There's no USCIS processing queue involved, so the bottleneck is usually the consulate appointment, not document review. Start the process as soon as your offer letter is finalized.
How do I find open TN-eligible roles at Lifepoint Health®?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by employer and visa type, letting you identify Lifepoint Health® openings that align with TN-eligible USMCA professions. You can also search Lifepoint Health®'s facility career pages directly and filter by clinical job category. When reviewing listings, confirm the role requires a degree in a specific field, since that credential requirement is a core TN eligibility factor.
How does TN visa admission work at Lifepoint Health®?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Lifepoint Health®, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
