Align your credentials to USMCA-listed professions
TN admission is limited to occupations explicitly listed under USMCA. Before applying to NCH, verify your role maps to a qualifying profession such as Registered Nurse, Medical Technologist, or Pharmacist. O*NET can help you confirm your occupation's standard title and duties.
Request a role-specific NCH offer letter
NCH's offer letter must state your professional capacity, the USMCA profession category, your credentials, and the employment duration. A vague or incomplete letter causes CBP denials at the border. Ask your NCH recruiter explicitly to include all four elements before your admission date.
Search NCH's verified TN hiring history on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter NCH job listings by TN-eligible roles. This saves time by surfacing positions where NCH has actively supported TN admission, so you're targeting openings most likely to result in a formal offer letter.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search data
NCH operates in a competitive healthcare labor market. Before negotiating your offer, look up the prevailing wage for your occupation and region using the OFLC Wage Search. Coming in with data-backed expectations signals professionalism and reduces back-and-forth on compensation.
Prepare your credential verification documents in advance
Healthcare TN admissions require evidence of licensure or credentials at the port of entry. Gather your nursing license, degree transcripts, and any CGFNS or state board certifications before your CBP appointment so NCH's timeline isn't delayed by documentation gaps on your end.
Plan TN renewals around NCH's contract cycles
TN status is granted in up to three-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely. Coordinate your renewal timeline with NCH's contract or employment agreement dates. Renewals processed at the border are faster than change-of-status filings, which can take several months through USCIS.
Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH sponsor TN visas?
Yes. NCH supports TN admission for qualified Canadian and Mexican healthcare professionals by issuing offer letters that meet USMCA requirements. NCH does not file a petition with USCIS for TN; instead, you present NCH's offer letter at a port of entry or U.S. consulate. The employer's role is to provide the documentation, not to sponsor in the H-1B visa sense.
Which roles at NCH are typically eligible for TN admission?
NCH's TN-eligible roles are concentrated in clinical departments: registered nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, physical and occupational therapy, and allied health specialties. Administrative and general support roles don't qualify because TN is limited to the USMCA professions list. Check NCH's current job listings to confirm your specific title falls within a listed profession.
How do I apply to NCH as a TN candidate?
Apply through NCH's careers portal for a role matching a USMCA-listed profession. Once you receive a conditional offer, request a formal offer letter that specifies your professional category, credentials, and employment duration. You then present this letter at a Canadian port of entry or, for Mexican nationals, at a U.S. consulate to obtain TN admission.
How long does the TN process take for NCH positions?
For Canadians, TN admission is typically granted at the port of entry on the same day, assuming your documents are complete and your role qualifies. Mexican nationals applying at a U.S. consulate should expect a consular appointment wait plus processing time, which varies by location. NCH's offer letter must be in hand before you attempt admission.
How do I find current TN-eligible job openings at NCH?
Migrate Mate lists NCH positions filtered for TN-eligible roles, letting you identify openings in clinical and allied health departments without manually screening each job posting. You can also search NCH's careers site directly, but confirming TN eligibility requires matching each role against the USMCA professions list, which Migrate Mate handles automatically.
How does TN visa admission work at Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
