Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN eligibility is determined by the USMCA professions list, not Nourish's job titles. Cross-reference your degree and role against O*NET occupation profiles to confirm your position qualifies before applying, since mismatches at the border can result in immediate denial.
Prepare a detailed offer letter package
Nourish's offer letter must specify your TN profession category, job duties, and employment terms. Border officers scrutinize healthcare roles closely, so ensure your letter explicitly ties your clinical or health technology duties to a recognized USMCA profession rather than using generic job titles.
Target Nourish's clinical and health tech teams
Nourish operates at the intersection of dietitian services and health technology. Roles in clinical nutrition, care coordination, and health informatics are most likely to align with TN-eligible professions. Search Migrate Mate to identify which Nourish roles have supported TN admissions historically.
Verify your wage meets prevailing standards
Even though TN doesn't require an LCA, confirming your offered salary meets or exceeds the prevailing wage for your occupation and location strengthens your admissibility case. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your specific role before negotiating your offer.
Plan your port-of-entry documentation carefully
Canadian TN candidates are admitted directly at the border, so arriving with disorganized paperwork creates real risk. Bring your degree transcripts, professional license if applicable, Nourish's offer letter, and any credential evaluation. Consulates process Mexican TN applicants, so timelines differ by nationality.
Account for TN renewal timing in your career plan
TN status is issued in three-year increments with no cap on renewals, but each renewal requires a current, valid offer from Nourish. If your role changes substantially or your employment ends, your TN status is tied to that specific position and employer, not your profession broadly.
Nourish TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Nourish sponsor TN visas?
Yes, Nourish supports TN admission for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals by issuing offer letters for eligible roles. TN is treaty-based under USMCA, so there is no USCIS petition involved. Your eligibility depends on whether your specific role and credentials match a recognized USMCA profession, which Nourish's hiring team can confirm during the offer stage.
Which roles at Nourish typically qualify for TN admission?
Nourish's core business centers on dietitian-led care and health technology, so roles in clinical nutrition, registered dietitian services, and health informatics are the most natural fit for TN-eligible professions under USMCA. Roles outside recognized USMCA categories, such as general operations or marketing, do not qualify regardless of employer support.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Nourish offer?
Once Nourish issues your offer letter, Canadian citizens present it directly at a U.S. port of entry along with their degree credentials and any required professional licenses. Mexican citizens apply at a U.S. consulate. No USCIS filing is required for either nationality. Confirm your documentation matches your USMCA profession category before traveling.
How long does TN admission take when working with Nourish?
For Canadian citizens, admission is typically processed at the border on the same day, provided documentation is complete and the role clearly qualifies. Mexican citizens face consulate scheduling timelines, which vary by location and season. Nourish can provide the offer letter quickly, but overall timing depends on your nationality and port-of-entry or consulate workload.
How do I find open TN-eligible roles at Nourish?
Migrate Mate lists Nourish's open positions filtered for TN-compatible roles, so you can identify opportunities that align with USMCA-eligible professions before applying. You can also review Nourish's careers page directly and cross-reference job descriptions against the USMCA professions list to assess TN eligibility before reaching out to their recruiting team.
How does TN visa admission work at Nourish?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Nourish, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
