Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN admission is limited to occupations on the USMCA professions list, so verify your role at Pediatrix Medical Group maps to a recognized category before applying. Nurses, physical therapists, and medical technologists each have distinct credential requirements that border officers check against the list.
Target Pediatrix's specialty clinical departments first
Pediatrix concentrates hiring in neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and pediatric subspecialties. Focusing your search on these departments increases the likelihood that the role aligns with TN-eligible clinical professions rather than administrative or ancillary positions that may not qualify.
Request an offer letter that matches TN requirements
Pediatrix provides a support letter when it hires TN candidates, but confirm it explicitly states your profession, employer address, intended duration, and that the position is temporary. A letter missing any of these details can prompt additional questioning or a delay at the port of entry.
Verify your state license before crossing the border
Pediatrix operates across multiple states, and many TN-eligible clinical roles require a license in the specific state where you'll work. USCIS and border officers can request proof of state licensure at inspection, so secure it before your entry date rather than after.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Pediatrix's TN hiring history
Before your interview, use Migrate Mate to review Pediatrix Medical Group's verified TN hiring activity by role and location. Knowing which positions the group consistently fills through TN admission strengthens how you frame your application and prepares you for role-specific questions.
Prepare for same-day TN admission at the border
Canadian nationals gain TN status directly at a port of entry with no advance USCIS filing required. Bring your Pediatrix offer letter, credential documents, and proof of Canadian citizenship so a border officer can adjudicate your admission the same day you travel.
Pediatrix Medical Group TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Pediatrix Medical Group sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Pediatrix Medical Group hires TN professionals by issuing offer letters for qualified Canadian and Mexican candidates in eligible clinical roles. Because TN is treaty-based admission under USMCA, Pediatrix doesn't file a petition with USCIS. The candidate presents the offer letter at a port of entry or U.S. consulate to obtain TN status directly.
Which roles at Pediatrix Medical Group typically qualify for TN admission?
TN-eligible roles at Pediatrix concentrate in clinical specialties such as neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and pediatric care. Registered nurses, physical therapists, medical technologists, and pharmacists commonly appear on the USMCA professions list. Administrative, billing, or generalist management roles typically don't qualify, so confirm your specific job title maps to a recognized USMCA profession before proceeding.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from Pediatrix Medical Group?
Once Pediatrix issues your offer letter, Canadian nationals travel to a U.S. port of entry with the letter, credential documents, and proof of citizenship for same-day adjudication. Mexican nationals apply at a U.S. consulate and attend a visa interview. Neither route involves an USCIS petition. Migrate Mate can help you verify the required documents before you travel.
How long does TN admission at Pediatrix Medical Group last, and can it be renewed?
TN status is granted in up to three-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely as long as you maintain a valid offer with Pediatrix and continue working in a qualifying USMCA profession. Renewals follow the same process as initial admission, either at a port of entry or a U.S. consulate, with a current offer letter from Pediatrix.
What documents should I bring to the port of entry for a Pediatrix TN admission?
Bring the Pediatrix offer letter that states your profession, job duties, employer location, and intended work period. Also carry proof of your professional credentials such as a degree, state license, or certification relevant to your role. Canadian citizens present a valid Canadian passport. A well-organized document set reduces the chance of additional questioning at the border.
How does TN visa admission work at Pediatrix Medical Group?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Pediatrix Medical Group, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
