Match your credentials to USMCA roles
TN eligibility is limited to occupations defined by USMCA, not determined by Reid Health. Before applying, verify your role and credentials appear on the USMCA professions list. Healthcare roles like registered nurse or medical technologist have specific degree and licensure requirements that must match exactly.
Verify your state licensure before interviewing
Reid Health operates in Indiana, so your professional license must be valid in that state. Canadian and Mexican nurses, pharmacists, and technologists often delay their TN process by applying before Indiana licensure is confirmed. Secure your state credential first to avoid offer letter delays.
Search Reid Health TN roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find open positions at Reid Health filtered for TN-eligible roles. The platform surfaces employers with documented TN hiring history, so you can target roles where your USMCA occupation category already has a track record at this health system.
Request a detailed support letter early
Reid Health's offer letter must specify your job title, USMCA profession category, work location, salary, and employment duration. Ask your HR contact explicitly for all these elements before your border appointment or consulate interview. Missing details are the most common cause of TN admission delays.
Prepare for port-of-entry TN admission as a Canadian
Canadian nationals present their TN documentation directly at a U.S. port of entry without prior consular processing. Bring your Reid Health offer letter, professional credentials, and proof of Canadian citizenship. CBP officers adjudicate TN admission on the spot, so organize your documents in a clear, logical order.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search
Before finalizing your offer with Reid Health, look up the prevailing wage for your occupation in Richmond, Indiana using the OFLC Wage Search. While TN doesn't require a formal wage attestation, confirming your offer aligns with local wage levels protects you and signals a well-structured arrangement to border officers.
Reid Health TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Reid Health sponsor TN visas?
Reid Health hires TN professionals for qualifying clinical and healthcare roles by issuing the offer letter you need for TN admission. The company doesn't file a petition with USCIS. Instead, your offer letter, credentials, and proof of citizenship are presented at a U.S. port of entry or consulate, where a CBP or consular officer makes the TN determination.
Which roles at Reid Health typically qualify for TN admission?
Reid Health's clinical departments are the most common pathway for TN professionals. Roles such as registered nurse, medical technologist, pharmacist, and physical therapist align with USMCA-listed occupations. Administrative or general support roles don't qualify for TN regardless of employer. Confirm your specific job title maps to a USMCA profession before pursuing an offer from Reid Health.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Reid Health offer?
Once Reid Health issues your offer letter, Canadian nationals schedule a port-of-entry appointment or present documents directly at a land border or airport. Mexican nationals apply at a U.S. consulate abroad. In both cases, you'll need your offer letter, educational credentials, professional license, and citizenship documentation. Reid Health's HR team should confirm the exact letter contents before your appointment.
How long does TN admission take at Reid Health?
Canadian nationals can receive TN admission on the same day at a port of entry if all documents are in order. Mexican nationals should allow several weeks for a U.S. consulate appointment and processing. The longest delays typically involve obtaining Indiana state licensure or correcting incomplete offer letters, so address those well before your target start date.
How do I find open TN-eligible jobs at Reid Health?
Migrate Mate lists positions at Reid Health filtered by visa type, making it straightforward to identify roles where TN admission is supported. You can also monitor Reid Health's careers page directly and filter for clinical positions that align with USMCA occupations. Cross-reference any role title against the USMCA professions list and O*NET to confirm your credentials satisfy the occupation's requirements before applying.
How does TN visa admission work at Reid Health?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Reid Health, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
