Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN admission at RHA Health Services covers only occupations on the USMCA professions list. Cross-reference your specific healthcare credential, whether a registered nurse or psychologist license, against that list before applying. A credential mismatch will result in denial at the port of entry.
Request a role-specific offer letter
RHA's offer letter must name your exact USMCA profession, describe your duties in profession-aligned language, and confirm full-time employment. A generic letter listing broad job responsibilities without tying them to a recognized TN occupation category is a common reason border officers question TN admissibility.
Search verified TN-supporting employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to identify open roles at RHA Health Services and similar healthcare employers that actively support TN admission. Filtering by employer and occupation type saves time and surfaces positions where TN candidates are already a known part of the hiring process.
Prepare your license for port-of-entry review
RHA hires across behavioral health and direct care, where state licensure is often required for TN eligibility. Bring your original license, any credential evaluation documents, and transcripts if your degree was earned outside the U.S. Border officers may request all three at the same time.
Understand the Canadian and Mexican admission difference
Canadian citizens apply for TN admission directly at a U.S. port of entry or pre-clearance location. Mexican citizens must attend a visa interview at a U.S. consulate first. RHA's offer letter is required in both cases, but your preparation timeline and required documents differ significantly by nationality.
Align your salary ask with prevailing wage data
Before negotiating compensation with RHA, run your target occupation and work location through the OFLC Wage Search to find the prevailing wage for that role. Healthcare employers track these benchmarks closely, and anchoring your ask to documented wage data strengthens your position in salary discussions.
RHA Health Services, LLC TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does RHA Health Services, LLC sponsor TN visas?
RHA Health Services supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican professionals in eligible USMCA healthcare occupations. The company issues offer letters for qualifying roles, which candidates present at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. TN is not a petitioned visa, so there is no USCIS filing involved on RHA's part.
Which roles at RHA Health Services typically qualify for TN admission?
RHA primarily hires in behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities support, and direct care services. Roles that align with USMCA-listed professions, such as registered nurses, psychologists, and social workers holding qualifying degrees, are the most likely to be supported for TN admission. Administrative or unlicensed support roles typically do not qualify.
How do I apply for TN admission through RHA Health Services, LLC?
After accepting an offer from RHA, the company provides a role-specific offer letter documenting your USMCA occupation and duties. Canadian citizens present this letter at a U.S. port of entry along with their professional credentials. Mexican citizens schedule a consular interview. Neither path involves a USCIS petition or waiting for government approval before admission.
How long does TN admission take when starting at RHA Health Services?
Canadian applicants can often receive TN admission the same day they present at the port of entry, assuming documentation is complete. Mexican applicants should account for consular appointment availability, which can add several weeks. Once admitted, TN status is granted for up to three years and can be renewed indefinitely.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at RHA Health Services?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at employers like RHA Health Services that actively support TN admission, making it easier to identify positions where your occupation and credentials are already part of the hiring process. You can filter by visa type and healthcare specialty to find roles that match your USMCA profession before reaching out.
How does TN visa admission work at RHA Health Services, LLC?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from RHA Health Services, LLC, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
