Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN eligibility depends on your role appearing on the USMCA professions list, not just your degree field. Cross-check your intended job title at Southern New Hampshire Health System against the exact USMCA occupation categories before applying to avoid a mismatched offer letter.
Target clinical departments with TN history
Southern New Hampshire Health System's strongest TN hiring tends to cluster in clinical roles like registered nursing, physical therapy, and medical technology. Prioritize those departments when searching open positions, since hiring managers there are more familiar with the TN offer letter process.
Request a detailed offer letter covering TN requirements
Your employer's offer letter must specify your job title, duties, your USMCA profession category, and the duration of employment. Ask Southern New Hampshire Health System HR explicitly for a TN-compliant letter, since a generic employment offer won't satisfy border officers or consular officials.
Prepare credential documentation before your border appointment
Canadian nationals present TN documentation directly at a port of entry, so have your degree transcripts, professional licenses, and the offer letter organized in advance. State nursing or therapy licensure is often verified on the spot, and missing documentation causes immediate delays.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified TN-supporting employers
Before committing to a lengthy application at Southern New Hampshire Health System, confirm the organization actively supports TN admission for your specific role. Migrate Mate lets you filter healthcare employers by visa support history so you spend time on positions genuinely open to TN professionals.
Align your salary expectations with prevailing wage data
While TN doesn't require a formal DOL wage filing, Southern New Hampshire Health System's offers for clinical roles still benchmark against regional wage standards. Run your job title and location through the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating so your salary expectation is grounded in verified market data.
Southern New Hampshire Health System TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Southern New Hampshire Health System sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Southern New Hampshire Health System hires TN professionals and issues the offer letters Canadian and Mexican nationals need to seek TN admission. The organization does not file a petition with USCIS on your behalf. You present the offer letter along with your credentials at a U.S. port of entry or consulate to obtain TN status directly.
Which roles at Southern New Hampshire Health System typically qualify for TN admission?
TN-eligible roles at Southern New Hampshire Health System most commonly include registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical technologists, and pharmacists. These positions align closely with professions recognized under USMCA. Roles outside the USMCA professions list, including many administrative or support positions, don't qualify regardless of your qualifications or the employer's willingness to hire.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a job offer from Southern New Hampshire Health System?
Once Southern New Hampshire Health System issues your TN-compliant offer letter, Canadian nationals book a port-of-entry appointment or present directly at the border with supporting documents including degree transcripts and professional licenses. Mexican nationals apply at a U.S. consulate. USCIS is not involved in the standard TN border or consular process, so there's no petition waiting period.
How long does the TN process take when hiring through Southern New Hampshire Health System?
For Canadian nationals, TN admission at a port of entry can be granted the same day if documentation is complete. Mexican nationals applying through a U.S. consulate typically wait several weeks depending on appointment availability. The main variable is how quickly Southern New Hampshire Health System prepares your offer letter after accepting your position, which varies by department and HR workload.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Southern New Hampshire Health System?
Start by searching Southern New Hampshire Health System's career page and filtering for clinical roles that match USMCA professions. Migrate Mate also lists healthcare employers that support TN admission, so you can identify openings and confirm employer TN history before investing time in the application. Cross-reference your target job title against O*NET occupation profiles to verify the role meets USMCA profession requirements.
How does TN visa admission work at Southern New Hampshire Health System?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Southern New Hampshire Health System, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
