Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Customer Support Jobs at TransUnion Jobs
Align your background to credit data workflows
TransUnion's Customer Support teams handle credit disputes, fraud inquiries, and bureau data requests. Frame your experience around case resolution, compliance-adjacent communication, or financial services support to match the specific language in their job postings.
Target TransUnion's enterprise and B2B support openings
TransUnion fills Customer Support roles across both consumer-facing and business-to-business operations. Enterprise client support positions often require specialized product knowledge, which strengthens a specialty occupation argument under H-1B and makes your application more competitive internally.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate
Search TransUnion's current Customer Support openings on Migrate Mate to filter specifically for visa-sponsoring positions. This saves time identifying which roles are actively open to sponsored candidates rather than cold-applying across job boards.
Confirm the employer's E-Verify enrollment before accepting
TransUnion participates in E-Verify, which is required for F-1 OPT STEM extension employers. Before signing an offer, confirm the specific hiring entity on your I-9 matches the E-Verify participant name to avoid authorization gaps after onboarding.
Negotiate your offer timeline around USCIS H-1B filing windows
H-1B cap petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, work with TransUnion's immigration team to structure a bridge arrangement or clarify whether a cap-exempt pathway applies.

Find Customer Support at TransUnion JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TransUnion sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Support roles?
Yes, TransUnion sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Support positions, particularly where the role involves specialized product knowledge, data analysis, or enterprise account management. Roles framed around credit bureau operations or compliance-adjacent support tend to align more clearly with USCIS specialty occupation requirements than general-purpose frontline support positions.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at TransUnion?
Apply directly through TransUnion's careers portal and filter for Customer Support or Client Services roles. To find listings already screened for visa sponsorship eligibility, browse Migrate Mate, which surfaces open positions at employers with an active sponsorship track record. Tailor your resume to reflect credit data, dispute resolution, or B2B support experience before applying.
Which visa types does TransUnion commonly use for Customer Support hires?
TransUnion supports several visa categories for Customer Support hires, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree field, and current status. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories without going through the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does TransUnion expect for sponsored Customer Support positions?
TransUnion typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, information systems, or a related field for sponsored Customer Support roles. Experience with CRM platforms, credit or financial services workflows, or enterprise client management strengthens your application. Roles requiring data interpretation or compliance knowledge are more likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship under USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I plan my timeline if I need TransUnion to sponsor my visa for a Customer Support role?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, plan for an April registration window with a potential October 1 start date, meaning offers made in early spring align best. For F-1 OPT, your 12-month (or 24-month STEM extension) authorization needs to cover your start date. Start conversations with TransUnion's recruiting team about sponsorship early in the interview process, not after an offer is extended.
