Target roles with a clear technical or specialized scope
UG2's sponsorship has been concentrated in skilled professional roles rather than frontline positions. Focus your applications on engineering, operations management, or technical facilities roles where a degree requirement and specialized expertise are clearly part of the job.
Understand that UG2 sponsors permanent residence, not temporary visas
UG2's track record is in Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, not H-1B. If you're looking for a temporary work visa, this may not be the right fit, but if you want a long-term U.S. career, it's worth pursuing.
Position yourself for long-term retention, not just a single role
Facilities and property services employers sponsor permanent residence when they see a long-term fit. Emphasize your commitment to the industry, your career trajectory, and your willingness to grow within the company during both applications and interviews.
Align your background with facilities operations or infrastructure management
UG2 operates across complex facility environments. Candidates with backgrounds in building systems, integrated facilities management, or property services operations are most likely to be considered for roles where sponsorship has historically been offered.
Filter for verified sponsors before applying broadly
Not every facilities employer sponsors visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and helping you focus your search on employers like UG2 that have an active track record.
Prepare for a multi-stage permanent residence process
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves PERM labor certification, an I-140 petition, and potentially a long wait for visa availability. Research priority dates for your country of birth early and factor realistic timelines into your career planning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does UG2 sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, UG2 does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Its sponsorship activity has been focused on permanent residence through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. If you require an H-1B to work in the U.S., UG2 is unlikely to be the right employer for your situation at this stage.
What visa types does UG2 sponsor?
UG2 sponsors employment-based Green Cards, specifically through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. EB-2 is typically for professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers and professionals. Both require the employer to complete a PERM labor certification before filing an immigrant petition on your behalf.
Which roles at UG2 are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
UG2 operates in facilities and property services, so sponsorship is most commonly associated with specialized technical, engineering, or operations management roles rather than general service positions. Candidates with expertise in integrated facilities management, building systems, or infrastructure operations are best positioned to be considered for sponsored roles within the company.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at UG2?
The most efficient way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsorship history so you can browse UG2 job openings alongside the company's actual Green Card and visa filing record. This saves you the guesswork of contacting employers who may not sponsor and helps you apply with confidence knowing the sponsorship track record is real.
How do I approach the application process if I need Green Card sponsorship from UG2?
Be upfront about your sponsorship needs early in the hiring process, surprises late in the offer stage can derail otherwise strong candidacies. Emphasize your long-term commitment to the facilities services industry and your fit for the specific role. Once an offer is in place, the PERM and I-140 process typically takes one to two years before a visa number becomes available, so early clarity benefits both sides.
