Construction Engineer Jobs in Fresno, CA

This position is responsible for coordinating all on-site construction activities and supervising field personnel, subcontractors, and trade partners. Regardless of the level of direct supervision provided, the Superintendent is accountable for inspecting work performed by employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

This position requires travel to project sites as needed and must OSHPD/HCAI healthcare construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all phases of on-site construction activities.
• Supervise field staff, subcontractors, and trade personnel.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
• Inspect work for compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting using Procore software.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience working on commercial construction projects for a general contractor.
• Experience with public works and/or private sector construction projects.
• Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
• Extensive experience with OSHPD/HCAI healthcare construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Construction Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of OSHPD/HCAI healthcare construction experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,500.00 - $114,400.00 per year
