Position:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the hands-on coordination and execution of construction projects at Paws Up Montana. This role operates as a hybrid between a Project Manager and Superintendent, with a primary focus on schedule integrity, cost discipline, and field-level issue resolution. This role works closely with the general contractor, Director of Special Projects, and internal stakeholders as well as managing subcontractors and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage development of plans in accordance with Missoula County, architect, engineers, and other professionals.
- Gather, analyze, and compare subcontractor bids; identify scope gaps and execution risks.
- Manage project budgets, including monitoring actual costs against forecasts, identifying variances early, managing allowances and minor cost adjustments within approved thresholds, and proactively communicating budget risks.
- Review, challenge, and synthesize cost inputs, including subcontractor bids, change requests, and sequencing impacts, and present clear cost tradeoffs and recommendations to internal stakeholders, escalating only material budget impacts.
- Drive daily and weekly schedule adherence in coordination with the general contractor and subcontractors and anticipate project needs and resources.
- Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable for performance commitments and quality control.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that construction schedules are adhered to.
- Identify schedule and cost risks early and present practical solutions.
- Track permitting and inspection requirements and ensure documentation readiness.
- Manage hand off of completed projects to internal stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with Director of Special Projects and internal stakeholders.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Resort policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports as required.

Looking for team members with:
- Minimum of High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience of residential and commercial building projects
- 3+ years’ experience supervising construction projects
- Reads and understanding blueprints/drawing at an advanced level
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite of tools, specifically strong MS Project & Excel skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to pivot from one task to another
- Valid driver's license, ability to meet company driving requirements
