Overview

Techcom LLC is seeking an experienced OSP Field Supervisor to support aerial and underground fiber construction operations across active telecommunications projects.

This position is responsible for overseeing daily field activities, supporting construction crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to project requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to keep crews productive and projects moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of aerial and underground fiber construction crews
• Coordinate work assignments and monitor production progress
• Conduct field inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and resolve field issues affecting productivity or project schedules
• Enforce company safety policies and jobsite compliance requirements
• Communicate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, inspectors, and utility representatives
• Review work completed and verify compliance with project specifications
• Submit daily production reports and field updates
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of field personnel
• Support equipment, material, and workforce coordination in the field

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or fiber construction
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead, Supervisor, or similar field leadership role
• Strong understanding of aerial and underground construction practices
• Ability to read construction drawings and project documentation
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and production standards
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel between project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• FTTH construction experience
• Experience managing multiple crews
• Experience working with telecommunications contractors and utility providers

Compensation

$68,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
