Airgas is Hiring for a QC Trainer in Harvey, LA
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
To provide support and training to ANS districts in the areas of standard operating procedures (SOP), equipment and evaluations. In addition, performs administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy, and visits districts on a regular basis to conduct audits, and continually enhance procedural knowledge and efficiency.
- Develop and manage training programs, media, and in-house classes to increase proficiency in quality, SOPs, and DOT practices, ensuring all instruction aligns with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide operational and safety training to new and existing ANS associates, manage the evaluation of operators' knowledge on all required paperwork (including service tickets, job reports, and DOT logs), and provide feedback to trainees and management.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SOPs, pumping equipment, and industry quality standards to guarantee compliance and operational excellence.
- Coach and guide ANS leaders on Quality Control Team (QCT) initiatives and audit results, and actively promote a safety culture through JSA, Near Miss reporting, Safe Start training, and Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
- Assist in conducting quality control audits and inspections, ensure proper reporting and corrective actions for evaluations and equipment, and report regulatory compliance issues to the appropriate supervisor/HSE Specialist/Manager.

Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Essential working knowledge of nitrogen pumping equipment and products, combined with strong abilities in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Professional Conduct: Solid organizational, team-building, and people skills, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor while navigating a complex, fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to apply technical knowledge and perform all required mathematical computations (including rates, ratios, and percentages).
