- Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program tailored to residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
- Coordinate daily activities including group events, one-on-one programs, outings, and special events
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for activity programming in a skilled nursing facility
- Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident engagement and care plans
- Maintain activity calendars, documentation, and resident participation records
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in activities/life enrichment in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required
- Activity Director Certification (or willingness to obtain) a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
- Knowledge of dementia programming and person-centered care is a plus
