INTRODUCTION
Oversight of Clinical Operations Support staff. InPlace software Administrator for all LUSON Programs. Special clinical operational projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrator for LUSONs InPlace software system
- Responsible for coordination and execution of InPlace software for all LUSON programs
- Manage operating procedures of InPlace for efficient clinical placements and accurate reporting of students, staff and clinical partners consistent with program requirements
- Coordinates clinical placements and schedules for all BSN students
- Maintain administrative functions of InPlace to support course offerings and ensure current, accurate information is available
- Works alongside LU ADS team for timely updates with Banner connection for InPlace accuracy
- Assist in the training/onboarding of new faculty, staff, and students to InPlace
- Oversight of Clinical Operations Support Staff working with BSN Program to onboard students and faculty into clinical via InPlace and Cerner systems
- Collaborate directly with healthcare systems acute and community based for student clinical placement and all faculty/student onboarding for BSN programs
- Manages local and distant clinical scheduling for residential BSN programs
- Oversight of Clinical Operations Support Staff
Specific Management/Leadership Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate Clinical Operations Support Staff
- Administrator for InPlace software for all nursing programs
- Work collaboratively with SON Chairs and Program Directors to ensure clinical placements and documentation of students
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
- Four-year college degree
- Strong business experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to lead and work with a team
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in InPlace software
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to comprehend and provide solutions to complex processes

- Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business
- Regularly lift 20 or fewer pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirements
Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
