Job Description:
Responsible for the engagement and performance of Hospitalist physicians and advance practice providers. Accountable to building a high performance, quality integrated, improved patient experience and metric driven philosophy. Builds and fosters Hospital Medicine relationships. Sets and establishes metrics for Hospitalist Program in collaboration and partnership with Senior Leadership, Campus Administration and physician leaders. Prepares for and conducts quarterly metric reviews with Senior Leadership, physician leaders and clinical support staff. Engages the team in monitoring and executing comprehensive results. Meets monthly with Medical Director and Lead Hospitalist at each campus to review site performance and identify opportunities and barriers. Facilitates hospitalists onboarding and ongoing education to ensure implementation of hospital SOPs, medical management of patients and multidisciplinary teamwork. Accountable for strategic direction, quality, performance improvement and system directed initiatives for the Hospitalist Medicine Program and culture-related improvement activities. Accountable to analyze trends in performance and makes appropriate adjustments to facilitate outcomes that accelerates the achievement of the overall goals of the organization. Collaborates with all campus CEOs, CNO, CMO and other applicable Medical Directors to identify, implement and evaluate process and practices related to the role and practice of hospital medicine physicians and advanced practice providers. Actively participates in Hospital Medicine budget planning. Create and maintains operating and capital budgets as they pertain to the scope of responsibility. Leads in the development of the strategic plan for Hospitalist Services, engaging with business development, physician recruitment, physicians and service line and/or campus leadership. Leads the planning for future organizational needs related to Hospitalist Medicine Program. Oversight of tracking and trending of Hospitalist Medicine performance indicators and initiate related improvement activities and initiatives. Analyze and facilitate standardization of workforce as it relates to labor needs across the region. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of Hospital Medicine landscape and market forces driving the hospitalist model of care [Required]
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree [Required]
Field of Study:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field
- Master’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, human resources, organizational governance or quality management [Required]
- 3+ years of leadership experience in hospital setting [Required]
