Job Summary
The Associate Director of Program Management, based out of our Fort Worth Texas headquarters, is an execution-focused leader responsible for driving publisher performance and growth across the Koddi Ads platform. This role leads a team of Program Analysts, with a core focus on delivering program excellence, scaling operational practices, and translating platform performance into compelling client outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader and operator who can manage complex publisher portfolios, develop their team's commercial and analytical capabilities, and serve as a senior point of escalation for more junior teammates. This leader will own program delivery quality across their client portfolio, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to surface insights, support upsell opportunities, and ensure consistent execution against client goals. Success in this role is measured by team performance, client outcomes, and the ability to build scalable processes that drive reliable results.
- Own program delivery outcomes across a portfolio of Koddi Ads publishers, ensuring consistent execution, campaign performance, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a team of Program Analysts, setting clear expectations, providing regular coaching, and supporting career growth and retention.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client situations, guiding your team through resolution with a focus on accountability and outcomes.
- Build and reinforce operational processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across program delivery.
- Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to support upsell opportunities, QBRs, and renewal conversations through performance-driven storytelling.
- Analyze campaign data and client insights to identify trends, surface risks, and develop recommendations that inform both team and client strategy.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and marketing to represent client needs, provide structured feedback, and contribute to platform improvement.
- Champion adoption of new platform features, AI processes, tools, and internal initiatives across your team.
- Establish a team culture built on transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team-building efforts as the organization scales.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in program management, account management, or performance advertising, ideally within retail media, programmatic, or ad tech.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing IC teams with a strong emphasis on coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Strong operational instincts — proven ability to build and scale delivery processes that improve consistency and team efficiency.
- Solid understanding of the campaign lifecycle, optimization tactics, and ad operations fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze campaign data, identify actionable insights, and translate performance trends into clear client narratives.
- Experience supporting commercial conversations, including upsells, renewals, and QBRs, in a client-facing capacity.
- Strong communicator with effective presentation skills and the ability to represent your team's work to senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced in working cross-functionally and aligning diverse teams around shared goals and priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficient in Excel, Google Slides, and major advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs).
- Experience using and learning the latest AI tools and capabilities to drive business outcomes.
- Willing to travel as needed.

Tips for Your Director Of Program Management Job Search
Quantify your portfolio impact clearly
Directors of program management live or die by outcomes. Your resume should show budget sizes managed, number of concurrent programs delivered, and cross-functional team scale. Hiring managers discard resumes that list responsibilities without measurable results tied to each role.
Tailor your resume to the portfolio type
Technology companies hire for Agile-heavy portfolio management, while defense and government contractors emphasize EVMS and schedule control. Read each posting carefully and mirror its language. A resume calibrated to the wrong methodology reads as a mismatch even if your experience is strong.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists director of program management openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Highlight your governance framework experience
Many postings at this level screen for experience building or overhauling a PMO. If you've defined stage-gate processes, established reporting cadences, or set program standards across an organization, call that out explicitly in your resume and cover letter.
Prepare a program narrative for interviews
Expect interviewers to ask you to walk through a complex program end to end. Know your most difficult program cold: scope creep you managed, stakeholder conflicts you resolved, and how you kept delivery on schedule. Panels at this level probe for judgment, not process knowledge.
Negotiate scope and authority, not just compensation
Before accepting an offer, clarify reporting structure, headcount authority, and whether the role has real budget ownership. A director title with no direct reports and no program budget is a different job from what the posting implies. Ask for an org chart and a description of current portfolio health.
Director Of Program Management Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most director of program managements?
The companies hiring the most director of program managements right now include University of California Berkeley, Jobot, and Adobe, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Technology, defense, and healthcare organizations consistently drive the highest volume of openings at this level.
How many director of program management jobs are remote?
About 19% of director of program management openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the senior coordination nature of the role. Portfolio governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment work tends to be most remote-friendly, while roles tied to hardware, manufacturing, or government contracts typically require on-site presence.
How do you become a director of program management?
Most directors of program management move up through senior program manager or group program manager roles, accumulating experience running large, cross-functional initiatives. Earning a PgMP or PMP certification strengthens your candidacy. Building visible experience owning a full program lifecycle, managing program managers, and influencing executive stakeholders is what distinguishes candidates ready for the director level.
Can you get a director of program management job without direct experience at that level?
Yes, but you'll need to close specific gaps that panels screen for. Senior program managers who have led other program managers, owned a department-wide delivery roadmap, or acted as a de facto PMO lead are competitive. Framing your resume around scope, team leadership, and governance rather than task execution is essential when you haven't held the exact title before.
What does the director of program management interview process look like?
The process typically runs four to six stages: an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation focused on leadership philosophy and program scope, a panel interview with cross-functional peers and stakeholders, and often a case study or take-home exercise on program prioritization or portfolio health. Final rounds frequently include a presentation to senior leadership on how you'd approach the first ninety days.
Where can I find and apply to director of program management jobs?
You can find and apply to director of program management jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to each listing without needing to go through a third party.
