What You Will Do:
- Perform complex diagnostic imaging studies by skillfully maneuvering transducers and selecting precise technical parameters to capture the clearest possible clinical picture.
- Identify critical pathologies and anatomical structures in real-time to provide radiologists with the high-quality data necessary for life-saving diagnoses.
- Guide patients through their exams by ensuring comfortable positioning and clear communication, maintaining a safe and empathetic environment throughout the procedure.
- Optimize the diagnostic workflow by meticulously validating image quality and patient history in PACS, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to accurate records.
- Uphold rigorous safety and quality control standards to ensure every procedure complies with regulatory requirements and provides the highest level of patient protection.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
