Electronics Technician

• Assemble GCTS computers and digital controllers
• Assemble cables and cable assemblies
• Test and repair electrical components
• Load and test software onto GCTS computers
• Support engineers in product testing

Required Skillsets

• Ability to solder cables, wires, and PCB boards
• Ability to crimp and assemble standard connectors
• Familiarity with heat shrink and cable finishing
• Ability to test and troubleshoot faulty electronics
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders, stand/sit for long periods of time, crouch, stoop, kneel, grasp, pull, and reach
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to wear PPE (safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, respirators, steel-toed shoes)
