Laboratory Analyst (Chemistry) – Pittsburgh, PA

What are we looking for?
The Laboratory Analyst - Chemistry is responsible for following SOPs to prepare, process, and analyze samples in addition to generating and reviewing reports.
Shift/Schedule: M-F 9-5:30

What you’ll do:
- Prepare and process samples
- Sample analysis (including the use of a Flame AA)
- Generate and review lab reports
- Utilize a LIMS system
- Perform QC/QA activities
- Instrument maintenance, calibration, and preliminary troubleshooting
- Follow industry standards (ASTM, EPA, etc) and SOPs
- Adhere to and support an ISO 17025 quality system

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in science related field (Chemistry strongly preferred)
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience outside of an academic setting
- Instrumentation experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Laboratory experience in Environmental Chemistry
- Flame AA and/or ICP experience
