Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental Laboratory Analyst I to support environmental monitoring, sample testing, data analysis, and regulatory compliance activities.
This role will collect and analyze environmental samples from sources such as air, water, and soil , maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, prepare, and analyze environmental samples.
Perform testing of air, water, soil, and other environmental media.
Monitor environmental systems, including wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste-management processes.
Analyze environmental data to identify trends, conditions, and system performance.
Support compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and standards.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, permits, and compliance documentation.
Assist with environmental reporting and regulatory documentation.
Operate environmental monitoring and laboratory equipment.
Support response activities associated with spills, incidents, or other environmental events.
Identify potential environmental issues and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders.
Collaborate with environmental, operations, engineering, and other internal teams.
Maintain high standards for laboratory accuracy, quality, and safety.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field , or an Associate degree in one of these disciplines.
Experience with environmental monitoring, laboratory testing, or environmental compliance.
Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret environmental data and technical information.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
