KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full real estate transaction cycle from contract execution through post-closing
- Prepare and review closing documents including title commitments, settlement statements, deeds, and loan documents
- Coordinate closely with lenders, real estate agents, title companies, and attorneys throughout the transaction process
- Maintain organized transaction files and ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Communicate proactively with all parties to keep closings on track and resolve any issues that arise
- Utilize closing software such as SoftPro, ResWare, or Qualia to manage transactions efficiently
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Paralegal certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a real estate closing environment
- Minimum 2 years of real estate closing experience, with 5 years being ideal
- Experience managing residential or commercial transactions from contract through post-closing
- Strong working knowledge of title commitments, settlement statements, deeds, and loan documentation
- Familiarity with SoftPro, ResWare, Qualia, or similar closing software is a strong plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with lenders, agents, and legal counsel
