INTRODUCTION

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dig trees and shrubs using shovels.
- Wrap plants in burlap.
- Prepare fields by clearing cull stock, brush & debris.
- Dig, load, unload or transplant bare rooted nursery stock.
- Plant seedlings or liners by hand.
- Straighten, tie, shear nursery stock.
- Rake & clean sheared nursery debris.
- Perform skills associated with propagation of ornamental trees.
- Water, fertilize nursery stock.
- Standing on feet throughout day.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Three months experience necessary.
- Lifting of 50lbs on a regular basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- May get up to 15 hours overtime when available.
- Time and a half pay begins after 60 hours.
