About The Role
Airwallex is building the global financial infrastructure for modern businesses in an AI era — and the Product Marketing team is at the heart of how we bring that transformational story to market. We're looking for a seasoned and ambitious Head of Product Marketing to lead and scale our global PMM function across four core product pillars: Payments, Spend, Billing, and Business Accounts. This is a rare opportunity to own the full GTM narrative for a high-growth fintech platform competing directly with the biggest players — and winning.
- Own the global Product Marketing strategy across Payments, Spend, Billing, and Business Accounts.
- Build and lead a team of PMM leads for each product pillar — this is a build role.
- Define positioning, messaging, and GTM motions for new product launches across 10+ global markets.
- Partner closely with Product, Comms, Growth, Design, Legal, and Commercial to drive integrated launches.
- Build world-class competitive intelligence and Sales enablement capabilities across all product lines.
- Drive attribution, performance measurement, and optimization of PMM-led campaigns.
- Design and implement agentic workflows to streamline everything from insights-generation to GTM activities.
What You'll Bring
- Outstanding professional and academic record of achievement.
- 10+ years in B2B Product Marketing, with at least 3–4 years leading a PMM org.
- Deep GTM expertise — you've run complex, multi-product, multi-market launches.
- Fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS background strongly preferred.
- Deep intellectual curiosity: you want to understand our customers’ problems inside-out and to know how our product can help.
- Strong competitive positioning chops — you know how to differentiate and win in crowded markets.
- Comfort operating at both the strategic and executional level in a fast moving problem space.
- Brilliant communication skills; you are equally at ease across verbal and written comms.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Bonus Points
- Experience with agentic AI or developer-facing products.
- Background at a high-growth scale-up that went through rapid product expansion.

Senior Level Head Of Product Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level head of product job?
Employers hiring at this level want evidence of product ownership at scale, not just contributions to someone else's roadmap. Candidates who stand out can point to a product they defined from discovery through launch, show how they influenced business outcomes, and demonstrate experience leading product managers or cross-functional squads. A clear portfolio of decisions, trade-offs, and results carries more weight than credentials alone.
Which companies hire senior level head of products?
Companies hiring senior level head of products right now include Plaid, Nokia, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level is driven by both growth-stage companies building out product leadership for the first time and established organizations replacing or expanding senior product functions.
Are there remote senior level head of product jobs?
Yes, though on-site expectations are more common at this level than in individual contributor roles. About 22% of senior level head of product openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting that many companies still prefer senior product leaders to be present for executive alignment, team building, and stakeholder collaboration.
What makes a head of product role senior level?
Senior level head of product roles are defined by scope and accountability. You own the product strategy, not just execution within a defined brief. You set prioritization frameworks, represent the product function in leadership conversations, and are accountable for outcomes across a portfolio or platform. Mentoring and developing other product managers is typically part of the role, not optional.
Which industries hire the most senior level head of products?
Senior level head of product roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Electronics & Hardware, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors tend to drive the most hiring because they operate complex, fast-moving product ecosystems that require dedicated senior leadership to manage competing priorities and long-term roadmap decisions.
