Job Description:
Job Summary: Design database structures that support the business needs of end users. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Define and design database structures. Evaluate hardware and software platforms and ensure system integration. Control meta data strategy, data cleansing, and security strategy.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops data models for effective data organization, while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Evaluates hardware and software platforms, ensures seamless system integration.
Guides metadata strategy, oversees data cleansing, and implements robust security measures.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and address evolving business requirements.
Ables to independently conduct regular assessments of database structures for optimization and efficiency.
Stays informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices in data architecture.
Provides guidance on data-related projects and initiatives, ensures alignment with organizational goals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced or Master’s degree in related field preferred.
8-10 years’ experience in software development, computer engineering, or related position. 10+ years’ experience preferred.
Certifications in coding programs such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus.

Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and with others.
Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
High attention to detail.
Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
Essential Physical Functions:
Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
Occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
