Join our team as a Machine Assembler and bring cutting-edge TRUMPF technology to life! You’ll play a hands-on role in building high-precision machinery, ensuring each product meets world-class quality standards. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to be part of an innovative manufacturing environment — we want to hear from you.
Machine Assembler Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators and digital levels to achieve tolerances. Use appropriate fixtures to aid in the assembly process.
- Operate overhead crane to move heavy components during the assembly process.
- Adhere to TRUMPF Quality Standards.
- Ability to read, convert and measure in imperial (inch) and metric system.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team goals. Maintain an organized and clean work area in according with TRUMPF’s lean principles.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes by providing input and feedback.
Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in assembly or 5 years' experience in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists helpful.
Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints.
Must be able to work with accurate measuring devices.
Must have attention to detail.
Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy a plus, forklift license a plus.
