Iowa Middle & S P Arnett Middle
Applicants must have a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate which includes certification in the area of employment as specified by Bulletin 746, Revised, Louisiana Department of Education or eligibility to obtain.
Certification for this position includes eligibility to teach middle school mathematics and high school level Algebra I.
Gifted teaching positions require a master's degree and State Gifted Endorsement. Applicants without these credentials may apply and be offered the position with agreement to acquire the credentials within the required timeframe as a contingency to accept the position.
This is an itinerate position with current assignment at Iowa Middle School & S.P. Arnett Middle School. Mileage will be paid for itinerate assignments. Applicants should be flexible regarding location placement.
Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public. Applicants must be able to appropriately administer the district prescribed gifted curriculum.
The background check will be done upon employment recommendation. You are not required to be fingerprinted to apply.
