Elsmere Psychiatry Group is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our expanding behavioral health team in Lexington, Kentucky with lite travel between Bowling Green and Louisville Kentucky. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care. Our providers work alongside experienced psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and case management teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.

- Salary: Starting at $135,000-$140,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments under the collaborating physician model as applicable
- Provide medication management for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric patients
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing, therapists, social workers, and case management to develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
- Participate in an equitable on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted Kentucky APRN license or willingness to obtain
- DEA license
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry of 1-2 years preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare
