Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate contract therapist to join our team. As a therapist, you will provide both in-person and telehealth therapy session to individuals, couples, and families with various mental health issues.
Duties:
- Conduct therapy sessions to assess and address clients' mental health concerns
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent situations
- Develop treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling (LSW, LCSW or LPC required)
- State licensure in mental health field required
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- This is a one (1) year contract position
- Part time candidate must conduct a minimum of 10 sessions a week
- Full time candidate must conduct a minimum of 32 sessions a week
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
