INTRODUCTION
Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its new primary care practice in Westbrook, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to live and work in one of Southern Maine’s fastest-growing and most desirable communities while helping to grow a brand-new primary care practice from the ground up. In this role you will provide meaningful care to patients with behavioral health needs, substance use disorders, and a wide range of mental health conditions in an integrated primary care setting.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates must have successfully completed a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program (required) and have prior experience practicing independently in this role (preferred).
Practice in a Thriving, Well-Supported Environment:
- Practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in central Westbrook, scheduled to open in Spring 2027. Clinic will include a free on-site parking garage, a lobby café, and an outdoor walking loop.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals located on a shared campus.
- Practice in a community-based, clinician-led setting with full access to the resources and protections of an integrated system.
