Description:
Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize networking equipment and protocols such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize data and voice networking infrastructure to support business services and applications used by Station Casinos. Consult with other Engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives. Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver on defined requirements. Address and resolve network performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion. Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support networks in a production environment.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable expertise in at least three of the platforms in common use at Station Casinos preferred. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications applications and other support applications in customer service orientated environment. General understanding of the operation and configuration of at least three additional platforms in use at Station Casinos. Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members and Leadership in both written and verbal form. Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
