Required Related Experience: No experience required.
Required License/Registration/Certification: Registered Nuclear Med Tech at time of hire; Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire
Physical Requirements: This position requires sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time. Lifting and positioning patients may also be required.
Shift: Flexible day shift Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am – 8:30 pm. Rotational on-call is required.
Job Summary: This position’s primary focus is to complete a Nuclear Medicine procedure/therapy in a safe, efficient manner according to departmental, hospital, state, and federal guidelines.
An experienced Nuclear Technologist is necessary to manage patient throughput, quality control, inventory, equipment evaluation and calibration, billing accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position will be responsible for executing diagnostic studies and interventional procedures by following unit policies/procedures for radiation safety, patient safety, radiopharmaceutical administration, QA, and imaging.
New Starting Pay Rate: The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted based on current demand for this role. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $31.14/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: The ideal candidate will have effective communication, strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, customer service excellence, a willingness to learn new skills, and technological proficiency. Key strengths include problem-solving, teamwork and collaboration, customer service, clear verbal and written communication, and a proactive approach.

Preferred Education/Experience: Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program with training in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT preferred.
