Role Overview
As marketing technologies capture complex multi-channel data, enterprise buyers require rigorous security, risk, and privacy evaluations. We are seeking a client-facing, technically proficient Security & Privacy Analyst for our Solutions Center of Excellence to bridge the gap between technical security expertise and commercial deal execution.
You will have the backing of, and clear channels for interfacing with, our internal Security, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure our security posture is accurately and effectively communicated.
Why this role is unique: This is a highly strategic pre-sales role (not a back-office position). You will directly impact revenue velocity by systematically unblocking security hurdles and building institutional trust with customers.
- Deal Acceleration & Questionnaire Mastery: Take absolute ownership of technical security, data privacy, and compliance questionnaires (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST) submitted by enterprise prospects. Deliver highly accurate, polished, and rapid turnarounds to maintain deal momentum
- Customer-Facing Security Advocacy: Join pre-sales alignment calls as the subject matter expert to defend our infrastructure, encryption standards, data handling procedures, and compliance posture against deep scrutiny from prospect CISOs and risk teams
- Knowledge Base Architecture & Automation: Own, organize, and proactively scale our technical RFP/security repository. Ensure the library adapts continuously to changing product capabilities and emerging threat landscapes
- Internal Security Liaison: Collaborate closely with our internal Corporate Security, DevOps, Legal, and Product Engineering groups to synthesize complex technical architectures into readily digestible customer-facing collateral
- Collateral Innovation: Develop self-service security packages, whitepapers, trust portals, and architectural diagrams to proactively address security inquiries before they become hurdles in the sales pipeline
WHO YOU ARE
- Mindset: Possesses a revenue-enablement mindset. You view security compliance not as a gatekeeper, but as a competitive differentiator that accelerates trust
- Autonomy: Highly structured, detail-oriented project manager capable of juggling multiple high-priority enterprise deals concurrently
- Certifications: Holding or actively pursuing relevant credentials such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CompTIA Security+, CISA, or CISSP is highly desirable
- Experience: 3–5 years of blended experience spanning Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales, Information Security, or Technical IT Audit (e.g., Big 4 security advisory)
- SaaS & MarTech Familiarity: Deep operational understanding of cloud-native multi-tenant SaaS architectures, API security, CDNs, data-at-rest/in-transit encryption, and identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth). Familiarity with marketing data flows (CDPs, ESPs, CRMs) is highly advantageous
- Privacy Framework Expertise: Strong working fluency with global data protection laws and cybersecurity frameworks, specifically GDPR, CCPA, PIPA, and HIPAA
- Exceptional Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills. You must possess the unique ability to navigate adversarial security reviews with diplomacy, commercial awareness, and authority
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $86,000 and $142,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $119,000 and $197,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.
