WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Tier 1 NOC Associate Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a 24/7 Network Operations Center. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to support network monitoring, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems and respond to alerts in real time
- Process maintenance requests and determine dispatch needs
- Provide 1st and 2nd level phone support for NMS tickets
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Manage and escalate tickets as needed, ensuring timely resolution
- Assist with outage coordination and customer communication
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of SageNet products and services
- Document actions and maintain accurate ticket records
Shift Requirements
We are excited to offer one intern position with flexible working hours between 7 AM and 8 PM CT. We understand the importance of balancing work with academic commitments, so we are willing to accommodate your school schedule to ensure a productive and manageable experience. The final schedule will be solidified prior to the start date. Please note that initial training will be required Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 8 PM.

To perform this role successfully, you must be eager to learn and demonstrate the ability to manage tasks effectively while working under the guidance of more experienced NOC technicians.
Key Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your first or second year at a technical school
- Monitor network systems and respond to alerts in real time
