Entry Level Real Estate Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level real estate manager job?
Focus on building hands-on experience through internships, property management coursework, or assisting a licensed real estate professional. Employers at this level look for familiarity with lease administration, tenant communication, and property software like Yardi or MRI. A relevant associate or bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or finance strengthens your application, and any direct exposure to property operations gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire entry level real estate managers?
Companies hiring entry level real estate managers right now include Berkadia, Jobot, and JPMorganChase, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring covers commercial property firms, residential management companies, corporate real estate departments, and real estate investment trusts actively building out junior teams.
Are there remote entry level real estate manager jobs?
Yes, though most entry level real estate manager roles involve some on-site presence given the hands-on nature of property operations. About 18% of entry level real estate manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and these tend to be administrative, leasing coordination, or asset management support roles where day-to-day tasks can be handled off-site.
Are these new grad real estate manager jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior real estate manager roles alongside broader entry level openings. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or a portfolio of relevant projects in place of full-time history, and avoids requiring a license as a hard prerequisite for the role.
Which industries hire the most entry level real estate managers?
Entry Level real estate manager roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Law & Legal Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive junior hiring because they maintain large property portfolios and rely on entry level managers to handle leasing, tenant relations, and day-to-day asset oversight under senior supervision.
