Job Overview
Phygital Grp
AI Professional – Agents, Automation & Growth Systems
Full-Time · Remote
About the Role
Phygital Grp is hiring a hands-on AI professional to design, build, and ship the AI systems that power our business — from autonomous agents and internal software to CRM automations and marketing/sales tooling. This is a builder role: you'll move from idea to working product, owning projects end to end rather than handing off to someone else.
What You'll Do
- Design and build AI agents that automate real workflows across sales, marketing, and operations
- Develop custom software and internal tools that integrate AI into day-to-day business processes
- Build and maintain CRM automations — lead routing, scoring, follow-ups, and pipeline reporting
- Create AI-powered sales and marketing tools (outreach automation, content generation, lead qualification, personalization at scale)
- Integrate AI models and APIs (LLMs, embeddings, voice, etc.) into existing platforms and workflows
- Prototype quickly, test with real users, and iterate based on what actually moves the needle
- Evaluate and stand up new AI tools, frameworks, and platforms as the space evolves
- Document systems and train team members on new AI-driven workflows
What You Bring
- Proven experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (production, not just prototypes)
- Strong software development skills — comfortable owning a build from architecture to deployment
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar) and building automations within them
- Working knowledge of sales and marketing workflows and how AI can improve conversion, speed, and personalization
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make), and modern dev tooling
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and ship in a fast-moving, remote environment
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical systems to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with voice AI / conversational agents
- Background in growth, demand gen, or revenue operations
- Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration frameworks
- Prior experience in an early-stage or fast-scaling company
What Phygital Grp Offers
- Full-time, fully remote role with flexible hours
- High ownership — you'll shape how AI is used across the company, not just execute tickets
- Direct access to leadership and fast decision-making
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote

Tips for Your Remote AI Specialist Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote ai specialist openings from across the U.S. in one place so you can find roles that match your skills and apply directly. Remote positions close fast when a team is small and the need is specific.
Show async communication in your application
Remote ai specialist teams rely on written handoffs, documented decisions, and clear Slack or Notion updates instead of in-person syncs. Write your cover letter and take-home prompts the way you would write an async team update: precise, structured, and easy to act on without a follow-up call.
Build a portfolio remote teams can evaluate
Distributed hiring managers can't watch you work, so a public GitHub with reproducible notebooks, model cards, or a deployed demo does the talking. Document your problem framing, data choices, and evaluation metrics so reviewers understand your reasoning, not just your output.
Target remote-first companies in your sector
Companies that were built remote from the start have the tooling, culture, and management practices to support ai specialists working distributed. Search specifically for remote-native firms in enterprise software, health tech, or fintech rather than filtering remote from companies that default to in-office.
Remote AI Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote ai specialist job?
Target companies that run fully distributed engineering or data teams, since those organizations are built to support remote ai specialists from day one. Remote hiring managers screen hard for self-direction, clear async written communication, and hands-on fluency with tools like Python, PyTorch, or cloud ML platforms. A public portfolio of deployed models or documented experiments gives your application a concrete edge over candidates who list skills without showing work.
Which companies hire remote ai specialists?
Remote ai specialist roles are posted by Meridial, Samsara, and Volga Partners and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. The strongest concentration is at remote-first technology companies, distributed SaaS platforms, and enterprise software firms that run global AI and machine learning teams without a central office requirement.
Can you get a remote ai specialist job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level ai specialist roles are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight from the start. Remote-first startups and product companies building early AI teams are the most likely to hire junior candidates. What opens the door is a GitHub portfolio with real projects, contributions to open-source ML work, or a capstone that shows you can ship something without hand-holding.
Do you need a degree for remote ai specialist jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers in this field weigh demonstrated technical skills and a portfolio of real AI or machine learning work as heavily as a formal credential. A computer science or data science degree helps with screening filters at larger organizations, but remote-first companies and early-stage teams regularly hire candidates who show strong Python skills, model deployment experience, and documented results without a four-year degree.
Which industries hire the most remote ai specialists?
Most remote ai specialist openings sit in Technology & Software, Electronics & Hardware, and Education, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors hire ai specialists remotely because their product and data infrastructure is cloud-native, which lets distributed teams build, train, and deploy models without needing to be co-located.
