Visitation School is a very energetic and vibrant community located in Westchester and is seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and experienced full-time Social Studies and Religion teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Visitation lead teachers work in a collaborative environment and are also tasked with creativity, professionalism, differentiation and strong curricular practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- MA degree in education and/or teaching credential (preferred)
- Proven classroom management skills
- Curriculum and instructional pedagogy
- Teaching experience
- Energetic and a practicing Catholic
- Team player
- Comfortable with the integration of technology and instruction
- Desire to work in a true community school
- Proactive communicator
- Comfortable with differentiation of instruction within the classroom
- Ability to create a nurturing and academically rigorous classroom environment

WAGE RANGE
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
