Entry Level Solutions Architect Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level solutions architect job?
Start by building hands-on experience through internships, personal projects, or cloud platform certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate technical fundamentals, communicate design decisions clearly, and show initiative through a portfolio or capstone work. Tailoring your resume to highlight architecture thinking, even from academic or internship contexts, gives you a real edge.
Which companies hire entry level solutions architects?
Companies hiring entry level solutions architects right now include Molex, Amazon Web Services, and Databricks, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers large technology firms, managed service providers, consulting firms, and enterprise companies building out cloud or software infrastructure teams.
Are there remote entry level solutions architect jobs?
Yes, though fully remote openings are less common at the entry level than at senior levels. About 25% of entry level solutions architect openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site or hybrid arrangements will see the broadest set of opportunities when searching current listings.
Are these new grad solutions architect jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior solutions architect roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates with zero to two years of experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts internship experience, academic projects, or a strong portfolio in place of full-time work history, making them well-suited for candidates stepping into their first professional role.
