How do I get a strategic finance analyst job in Boston?
Boston's strongest hiring comes from its life sciences corridor, major hospital systems, and asset management firms clustered in the Financial District and Seaport. Candidates with FP&A experience, strong financial modeling skills, and familiarity with biotech or healthcare business models stand out locally. Networking through Boston's finance and life sciences communities, and targeting high-growth companies in Kendall Square and the Innovation District, gives you a concrete edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire strategic finance analysts in Boston?
Boston strategic finance analyst roles are posted by RSM, Berkeley Research Group, and suno and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Boston's mix of established financial institutions, major academic medical centers, and venture-backed biotech firms creates consistent demand across employer sizes and growth stages.
Are there remote strategic finance analyst jobs in Boston?
Yes, though strategic finance analyst roles skew toward hybrid rather than fully remote, since close collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams is central to the work. About 100% of strategic finance analyst openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with most requiring at least some in-office presence. Modeling, reporting, and deck-building tasks are most commonly handled remotely within Boston-based hybrid arrangements.
How can I get a strategic finance analyst job in Boston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Boston is through a financial analyst or FP&A associate role at one of the city's many biotech, healthcare, or asset management firms, which frequently hire recent graduates and promote from within. Boston-area employers value rotational programs, MBA co-op placements, and internships that lead to full-time offers. Building Excel and financial modeling skills, and targeting mid-size life sciences companies in the Seaport and Kendall Square, gives early-career candidates the strongest local footing.
