Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounting or related office experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Payroll review
• Billing review
• Answering phones
• Responding to client and employee questions
• Completing employee verification forms
• Long-term care insurance submissions and documentation
• Quality control and client file reviews
• Assisting with additional accounting-related duties as needed

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Workers’ Compensation assistance
• BCBS billing
• VA billing
