TN Visa Chiropractor Jobs
Chiropractor is a designated TN visa occupation under USMCA, making it one of the more straightforward paths to U.S. employment for Canadian and Mexican practitioners. To qualify, you need a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a state license in your destination state. Employer sponsorship is required, and most U.S. chiropractic practices have limited experience navigating TN filings.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Chiropractor
Verify your state license before applying
Each U.S. state issues its own chiropractic license, and you must hold or be eligible for the license in the state where you'll practice. Canadian and Mexican DC credentials require NBCE exam equivalency confirmation before most state boards will process your application.
Target multi-location chiropractic groups first
Regional chiropractic chains and healthcare systems with HR departments are far more likely to have processed TN sponsorship before. Solo practices may be open to hiring you but often don't know TN documentation requirements, which creates delays at the border.
Prepare a TN support letter with your offer
The employer's support letter must describe your role, confirm it requires a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and state your anticipated start date and compensation structure. Missing any of these elements is the most common reason CBP delays or denies TN admission at the port of entry.
Distinguish TN from H-1B when briefing employers
Many chiropractic employers assume all work visa sponsorship involves USCIS petitions and lottery risk. TN for Canadians is processed at the border or a U.S. consulate with no USCIS filing and no annual cap, which removes the two obstacles employers most commonly cite.
Search for sponsorship-ready roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Chiropractor positions with employers who have TN visa sponsorship history. Filtering by verified sponsorship experience saves you from approaching practices that will decline before even reviewing your credentials.
Confirm your USMCA category documentation at admission
At the port of entry, Canadian citizens present credentials and the support letter directly to CBP without pre-filing. Mexican citizens must apply through a U.S. consulate first. Having your DC degree, transcripts, and license documentation organized in one packet reduces CBP review time.

Find Chiropractor JobsChiropractor TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does the TN visa cover Chiropractor roles specifically?
Yes. Chiropractor is explicitly listed as a qualifying TN occupation under USMCA. To qualify, you must hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution and have a job offer from a U.S. employer whose support letter confirms the role requires that specific credential. The classification is not available for chiropractic assistants or unlicensed roles.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Chiropractors?
TN is faster and far more predictable for this role. H-1B requires a USCIS petition, an annual lottery with limited slots, and a filing window restricted to April each year. TN for Canadian citizens processes at the port of entry with no lottery, no cap, and no wait for a fiscal year start date. Mexican citizens go through consular processing, which still avoids the lottery entirely.
Can I get TN sponsorship if I haven't yet obtained a U.S. state chiropractic license?
CBP does not require you to hold the U.S. state license at the time of TN admission, but many employers will condition your offer on obtaining it before your start date. You should have your NBCE exam results, DC degree, and evidence of a pending state license application ready to show both the employer and CBP if asked.
How do I find Chiropractor jobs with TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Chiropractor positions where employers are open to or experienced with TN visa sponsorship, so you're not cold-contacting practices that have never heard of USMCA work authorization. Targeting employers with sponsorship history is the most reliable way to move from offer to admission without delays.
Can I switch chiropractic employers on a TN visa without losing status?
Yes, but your existing TN authorization is employer-specific. You cannot start with a new chiropractic practice until you obtain a new TN. Canadian citizens can apply at the port of entry with a new support letter from the incoming employer. Mexican citizens must schedule a consular appointment. You cannot transfer a TN the way you port an H-1B under AC21 portability rules.
