This role is a senior, hands-on construction attorney position responsible for supporting large, complex customer installations of Bloom Energy systems in the US and internationally in a growing, dynamic environment. - Partner with procurement and supply chain legal teams to align construction contracting with equipment supply, logistics, and installation sequencing.
- Develop and implement process improvements for construction contracting workflows, contract administration, and risk tracking.
- Provide training and practical guidance to non-legal stakeholders (project managers, engineers, commercial teams) on construction contract fundamentals, claim management, and risk mitigation.
- Support special projects as needed, including legal operations technology implementation, installation process improvements, and updating templates.

Frame your credentials around specialty occupation criteria
TN visa eligibility for senior marketing directors hinges on demonstrating that your role requires specialized knowledge, not general management. Prepare a credential package showing your degree field aligns directly with strategic marketing functions, not broad business administration.
Target employers with cross-border hiring infrastructure
Mid-to-large companies with Canadian or Mexican operations already understand USMCA classifications and internal legal processes. Prioritize employers whose HR teams have handled TN petitions before, since they won't need hand-holding on the classification rationale for your role.
Search TN-sponsored marketing roles using Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Senior Director of Marketing jobs by TN visa sponsorship status, so you're not wasting applications on employers who won't navigate USMCA classifications. Start there before reaching out to individual companies.
Negotiate your offer letter before the TN filing
CBP officers at the border review your offer letter as primary evidence. Your letter must explicitly state the role title, your specific marketing duties, required degree, and that the position qualifies under USMCA. Generic offer letters are a leading cause of TN denials.
Understand how employer letters support your TN visa application
Although TN doesn't require employer filings like H-1B does, your offered compensation should align with prevailing market rates for senior marketing directors in your metro area. Significant wage gaps can raise questions when presenting your TN case at the border or consulate.
Plan your Mexican TN cap timing strategically
If you're a Mexican citizen, the annual TN allocation resets each fiscal year on October 1. If the cap is exhausted, you'll wait until the next cycle. Time your job search and offer acceptance to allow filing early in the fiscal year.
Senior Director Of Marketing TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Director of Marketing role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
It can, but the classification requires careful framing. CBP typically maps senior marketing director roles under the Management Consultant category when the position involves specialized strategic functions and requires a directly related bachelor's degree or higher. Roles with broad general management duties that lack a clear professional specialty are harder to support under USMCA classifications.
How does TN compare to H-1B for Senior Director of Marketing positions?
TN has no lottery and no annual cap for Canadian citizens, so you can file and get approved at the border on the same day you receive a valid offer letter. H-1B requires entering a randomized lottery each spring, waiting months for processing, and paying significantly higher filing fees. For Canadians especially, TN is a faster and more predictable path to starting a senior marketing role in the United States.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a detailed offer letter that states your job title, specific duties, the professional category being claimed under USMCA, your required credentials, and the employment duration. Vague letters that don't tie your marketing responsibilities to a recognized TN professional category are the most common reason for CBP denials or requests for additional evidence.
Where can I find Senior Director of Marketing jobs that already offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking U.S. jobs with TN visa sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards and cold-emailing HR teams about USMCA, you can search roles where employers have already indicated they'll support TN classification, saving significant time in your search.
Can I switch employers on a TN visa if I get a better offer?
Yes, but your TN status is tied to your current employer and approved role. To switch, your new employer must support a fresh TN application reflecting the new position's duties and USMCA classification. You'll need a new offer letter and, for Canadians, can typically process this at the border. Don't leave your current role before the new TN is approved.
