WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking Skilled Trades professionals to support operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment, automation systems, and/or facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
This position is designed to support multiple skilled trades disciplines, including mechanical, electrical/controls, automation, and facilities maintenance. Candidates may specialize in one or more of these areas and will be assigned work aligned to their primary trade expertise.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems within your trade specialization (mechanical, electrical/controls, automation, and/or facilities).
- Diagnose and resolve issues using technical drawings, schematics, and appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Dismantle, repair, and replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and running changes.
- Perform fabrication, modification, or construction tasks where applicable to your trade.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve equipment failures and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow preventive maintenance programs.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including LOTO, guarding, and regulatory compliance relevant to your trade.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Education:
- Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in a relevant skilled trade (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechatronics).
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a skilled trades role within a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Mechanical systems and fabrication (e.g., conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics/pneumatics)
- Electrical systems and industrial controls (e.g., wiring, motors, PLCs, HMIs)
- Automation and robotics
- Facilities maintenance (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution)
Technical Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability, including the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments relevant to the trade.
- Experience executing preventive maintenance and supporting equipment reliability.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and procedures (e.g., LOTO, equipment guarding).
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including at heights and with mobile equipment as required.
- Capable of lifting 50–70 lbs and performing physical work.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Relevant trade licenses or certifications.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing equipment, automation, or integrated systems (as applicable to trade).
