Validation Specialist Jobs in Santa Clara, CA

INTRODUCTION

We are looking for an experienced Senior PCIe Validation Engineer with a strong background in SSD, NVMe, and PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 validation. This role requires hands-on experience validating high-speed storage interfaces, debugging complex hardware/software issues, and developing automated test solutions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 link and protocol validation across multiple platforms
• Validate SSD functionality under normal, abnormal, and corner-case scenarios
• Develop and enhance automated validation tools using Python
• Improve regression coverage and support CI-based validation infrastructure
• Standardize validation processes, reporting, and PCIe debugging best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in PCIe, SSD, Storage, or High-Speed I/O validation
• Strong experience with PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 protocol validation
• Hands-on experience with SSD and NVMe technologies
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation
• Strong Linux environment experience
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and regression automation
• Experience using PCIe analyzers/exercisers such as Teledyne LeCroy or Keysight

• PCIe trace analysis
• Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and BERT tools
