Which fintech companies in Arizona sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas?
Arizona fintech employers with a history of sponsoring Chilean nationals include Western Alliance Bank, Voya Financial, and payments-focused technology firms headquartered in the Phoenix metro. Larger national fintech companies with Arizona operations, such as Fiserv and Global Payments, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles. Filing history varies by year, so checking DOL disclosure data through OFLC Wage Search gives the most current picture.
Which cities in Arizona have the most fintech H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and Scottsdale account for the large majority of Arizona fintech hiring, with Tempe also active due to its proximity to Arizona State University and a growing startup corridor. Chandler hosts back-office and technology operations for several financial services firms. Tucson has a smaller but developing fintech presence. Most H-1B1 Chile sponsorship activity in the state is concentrated within the Greater Phoenix area.
What types of fintech roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that consistently qualify as specialty occupations in fintech include software engineer, data scientist, quantitative analyst, cybersecurity analyst, financial systems architect, and compliance technology specialist. Each position must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field as a minimum entry requirement. O*NET occupation profiles can help verify whether a specific role meets the specialty occupation standard before applying.
How do I find fintech H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, so you can search for fintech roles in Arizona where employers have H-1B1 visa Chile sponsorship history. Because the H-1B1 Chile is a distinct visa category from the H-1B, general job boards rarely surface sponsorship data at that level of detail. Migrate Mate's employer data draws on DOL Labor Condition Application filings, giving you a more targeted starting point than broad job searches.
Are there any Arizona-specific or fintech-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Arizona has no state-level visa or work authorization requirements beyond federal rules, but fintech employers in regulated segments, such as banking and money transmission, may require additional licensing or background checks that extend onboarding timelines. The H-1B1 Chile does not require a separate USCIS petition in the same way the H-1B does, but employers still must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before the consular application can proceed.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile fintech jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
