Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About The Team
The Marketing Operations team is responsible for the systems, processes, and data infrastructure that power the global marketing engine at Stripe. We partner closely with Growth, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Lifecycle, Sales Development, and Marketing Technology teams to ensure campaigns are executed with precision, prospect data is accurate and actionable, and our marketing technology stack operates at scale. We are systems thinkers and operational leaders focused on improving the workflows, tooling, data quality, and processes that enable marketing and sales teams to move faster and more effectively. Our work spans campaign operations, marketing automation, prospect data management, and cross-functional program delivery.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Program Manager to own and drive critical operational programs across campaign execution, prospect data management, and marketing process improvement. This role sits at the intersection of marketing technology, data operations, and program management—and requires someone who can move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will serve as a process owner for key marketing operations workstreams, partnering with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and engineering to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and pipeline impact.
- Embed within the regional marketing team to deeply understand and represent market nuances, and be the primary representative for Marketing Operations initiatives
- Serve as the process owner for campaign execution workflows across email, landing pages, and paid media, supporting Growth, Lifecycle, and Global Campaigns marketing teams
- Consult on best practices in Marketo, with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational design. Design complex nurture and trigger campaigns and standardize them for broader use
- Lead programs to address recurring operational challenges. Define objectives, success metrics, and build repeatable processes that scale
- Serve as a technical bridge between regional marketing, product, and engineering teams to scope business requirements, coordinate discovery, and translate operational needs into product requirements for internal tooling
- Drive regional performance transparency by analyzing pipeline health and marketing database trends. Proactively identify and unblock operational friction through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Accelerate review cycles, pilots, and feedback collection during program execution. Summarize required changes, identify launch-blocking issues, and escalate risks as needed
- Drive ongoing improvements in marketing operations through process innovation, automation, and the adoption of AI-powered tools to increase productivity and transform workflows
- Maintain scalable documentation and support coordination with offshore production teams and cross-functional partners across time zones
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
- 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations, campaign management, or a related program management role within a high-growth technology environment
- 3+ years of experience working day-to-day with marketing automation platforms, CRM platforms, prospect data, and lead management
- 3+ years of experience in end-to-end program management of cross-functional marketing, sales, and engineering initiatives
- Experience building AI agents, including examples of agents you have deployed and examples of ways you are using AI on a daily basis beyond chat
- 3+ years of experience doing your own analysis using queries, dashboards, and AI, and partnering with analysts and data scientists for more complex analytics needs
- 3+ years of experience defining your own scope and goals, and collaborating with a distributed, global team to deliver on them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex operational concepts to diverse stakeholders across marketing, sales, and engineering

- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce, including lead and contact management, campaign attribution, and marketing-to-sales data flows
- 3+ years of experience with Marketo audience and campaign design and production
- Experience selecting and managing third-party data providers for B2B contact enrichment and prospecting
- Experience implementing AI tools to improve marketing operations workflows and productivity
- Experience working with global teams on a day-to-day basis
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks as they relate to prospect data acquisition and marketing database management

In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
PAY AND BENEFITS
The annual US base salary range for this role is $157,800 - $236,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Which companies sponsor visas for marketing operations managers in California?
Large technology and software companies are the most active sponsors for marketing operations manager roles in California. Employers like Salesforce, Adobe, Google, Meta, and Oracle have dedicated immigration programs and regularly file H-1B visa petitions for marketing operations positions. Enterprise SaaS companies and large e-commerce platforms in the Bay Area and Los Angeles are also consistent sponsors, given the specialized systems and analytics expertise these roles require.
Which visa types are most common for marketing operations manager roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa for marketing operations managers in California, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information systems, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Australian citizens may also pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar eligibility framework but has no lottery. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT sometimes transition directly into employer-sponsored H-1B status.
Which cities in California have the most marketing operations manager sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and the broader Bay Area account for the largest concentration of marketing operations manager sponsorship jobs in California, driven by the density of enterprise tech and SaaS companies headquartered there. Los Angeles is a strong second, particularly in media, entertainment technology, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce. San Diego has a growing presence through biotech and telecom companies that maintain marketing operations teams supporting national and global campaigns.
How to find marketing operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it possible to search marketing operations manager roles in California without sifting through postings that don't support international candidates. Because sponsorship willingness isn't always stated in standard job ads, using Migrate Mate to identify employers who have an active history of sponsoring this role type in California saves significant time during a job search.
Are there any California-specific considerations for marketing operations manager visa sponsorship?
California's prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules reflect the state's high cost of living, meaning employers must offer compensation meeting Department of Labor wage levels for the relevant metro area. The Bay Area and Los Angeles carry some of the highest prevailing wage thresholds in the country for marketing operations roles. California's concentration of large-cap tech employers also means many sponsors are subject to H-1B dependent employer rules, which affect how they document the hiring of international workers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing operations manager jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
